The 10th Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10) for protecting diversified living organisms on earth, is scheduled to be held at Nagoya Congress Hall in October 2010. Focusing on the theme the "Aichi-Nagoya COP 10 Holding Plan," Nagoya has been working toward further vitalization of the city, aiming at this convention to be attended by approximately 7,000 people from about 190 countries and areas around the world.

In order to contribute to this project for creating the city, NCD devised a plan for improving, managing and operating bicycle parking lots, in cooperation with our partner, Tsutai Co., Ltd. to respond to Nagoya City's contract offer.Our number one track record of installing power lock systems nationwide, a track record of managing over 130,000 units and a wealth of experience with construction and maintenance system have been highly valued, and as a result, the project for operation and management was contracted out to us.We have so far installed and have been managing 9,000 units at seven stations in Nagoya City.

At JR Chikusa Station where started operation in March 2009, we provide new service such as a search system which enables users to find out space availability at bicycle parking lots from a mobile phone.We will continue to support the well-being of people in Nagoya.
