"Community Cycle" a cycle hire system for freely taking and returning a bicycle anywhere within the designated zone.This system has already been widespread in metropolitan areas in Europe. A full-scale effort of introducing it into Japan has begun.
For the pilot program of Community Cycle in the Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho area in Tokyo, which was implemented on 1 October, 2009, EcoStation21 bicycle parking system was adopted.
